Multi-Sensory Environments
An inclusive approach is central to the Building Schools for the Future programme which means creating stimulating, multi-sensory environments for the benefit of pupils but also members of the wider community and particularly those with learning difficulties or special needs.
As sound and lighting specialists, TMC offers the expertise and technical know-how to harness these important sensory stimuli to best effect in a variety of settings. Within the first phase of Building Schools for the Future, TMC have designed sound and lighting systems for hydrotherapy pools, installing colour changing LED spheres in place of fluorescent lighting, as the flicker and glare can cause distress for children with certain neurological conditions.
